All about Samsung Galaxy M42 5G Phone

 Samsung Galaxy M42 5G phone will be launched in India on April 28, an Amazon web page suggests. The smartphone will be the company’s first 5G phone under the M series.Being tagged as ‘Fastest Monster’, the handset will be launched via an online event that is scheduled for 12 pm on April 28.


Amazon listing page also reveals some of the key features of the upcoming phone.Samsung Galaxy M42 5G will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G mobile processor.The device will come with the company’s Know security defence system, along with features like AltZLife, and Content Suggestions. It will also be equipped with Samsung Pay to facilitate online payments.


Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is expected to run Android 11 operating system topped with the company's own layer of One UI 3. Online rumours suggest that the smartphone may house a 6,000 mAh battery.An online report earlier suggested that the handset could come in three colour options -- Blue, Black and White. 


The smartphone is expected to come with a 32MP selfie camera and a 64MP primary rear camera.


As per an online report, this will be Samsung's most affordable 5G smartphone. The smartphone is said to be priced under Rs 25,000 and it will be available online on Amazon and Samsung.com and offline on authorised retail stores.


The smartphone is said to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor paired with 4GB RAM.Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is said to run Android 11 operating system and it is also said to come with Knox Security. 


The smartphone has already received BIS certification which means that it will soon launch in India.


The smartphone is also said to house a 6000 mAh battery and sport a 64MP quad-rear camera setup.Recently, it was reported that Samsung is said to partner with Olympus for its upcoming smartphone.


 As reported by Mashable, neither of the two companies are yet to confirm the partnership, it is being allegedly said that Olympus cameras may debut with a special edition of Samsung Galaxy Fold or with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.


Olympus is part of OM Digital Solution known for its professional cameras. The leakster says that the Japan-based camera company may offer branding as well as expertise in key areas of photography and videography for future Samsung flagship phones.


Samsung recently expanded its Galaxy M-series of smartphones with the launch of Galaxy M12 smartphone. It appears that the company is now gearing up for the launch of another M-series deviceAccording to a Dutch website, Galaxy Club and WiFi Alliance listing, Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy M42 smartphone soon.


The report also suggests that it will be the first 5G-enabled Galaxy M series smartphone.The smartphone is expected to run Android 11 operating system topped with the company's own layer of One UI 3. Rumours also suggest that the smartphone will be backed by a 6,000 mAh battery.


The report also adds that the smartphone will come in three colour options -- Blue, Black and White.Samsung Galaxy M42 is said to sport a 64MP rear camera and 32MP front camera.Meanwhile, Samsung has announced that it will host an event on March 17. Dubbed as Galaxy Awesome Unpacked 2021, the event will start at 10 am ET (7.30 pm IST) and will be live streamed on YouTube. 


The company is expected to launch the 4G and 5G variants of Galaxy A52 and A72 on this date.As per online reports, the Galaxy A52 is expected to offer a 6.5-inch display and be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset with 6GB RAM. Whereas, Galaxy A72 is expected to offer a 6.7-inch display and be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC with 6GB and 8GB RAM options.
